•ASSURES IMO RESIDENTS OF GOOD ROADS, PORTABLE WATER
The worrisome traffic gridlock caused by bad road infrastructures in Imo state southeast Nigeria will soon be a thing of the past.
These were the words of honorable Stanford the special assistance to governor Uzodimma on public enlightenment Stanford Nwokedi while fielding questions from journalists on the effort been made by the state government to ameliorate the difficulties faced by residents.
According to him the ongoing massive approach by the state the government on the construction of major roads in the state is a clear indication that the shared prosperity administration of the governor Uzodimma meant well for the people of the state.
Acknowledging the fact that the coronavirus pandemic slowed down the pace of some of the laudable projects, the government had earmarked for the year, Mr. Stanford said, the government has and will not relent in the effort to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
Speaking further the good governance crusader highlighted the level of progress made on the state’s water projects, he, however, commended the memorandum of understanding signed with the leadership of USAID, he said the move will also, end the issue of lack of portable water thereby foster healthy living.
