CUPP CALLS FOR END TO BANDITRY, KIDNAPPING, INSECURITY IN NIGERIA

The Coalition of united political parties has given president Muhammadu Buhari a thirty day ultimatum to tackle insurgency,banditry as well as to secure the country or be prepared for a nationwide protest.

CUPP’S Spokesman Ikenga Ugochinere gave the ultimatum while addressing journalists in abuja Tuesday.

Ugochinyere raised alarm over the killing of innocent citizens in some parts of the country accusing the Buhari led government of complacency in providing security to the people.

He said CUPP has commenced legal action to call for the sack of service chiefs from office adding that the suit is seeking to restrain the president from further re-appointing or extending tenures of the service chiefs.

Ugochinyere also alleged that their continued stay in office undermine national security,demoralizes troops and cause mass resignation in the military.
