The Nigeria Police this morning arraigned suspected members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Abuja federal High Court
The arraigned 22 Biafrans were among those lifted from Obigbo to Abuja for trials since three months ago pure news reporters has learnt.
according to a relative of one of the suspects, who did not want his name on print, not less than 399 obigbo indigens including men and women where arrested and taking to Abuja by Nigeria Military during the Obigbo unrest last year.
He further alleged that over 5 of those arrested has since died while in military Custody.
Also Speaking, an elder statesman in Obigbo community, demanded for the uncommon release of the arrested indigens and criticized government for negotiating and paying ransoms to hoodlums and criminals in the north while arresting and tormenting peaceful citizens in the south.
